Antonia Bogdanovich is a writer, director, and actress who has accrued an impressively long and varied resume. Even before attending UCLA where she wrote her first screenplay, Antonia worked as a production assistant on George Miller’s The Witches of Eastwick, was an assistant editor on James L. Brooks’ I’ll Do Anything and the 1994 classic, The Lion King. She also worked in development at Gracie Films and Carsey-Werner Productions. As an actress, Antonia has appeared in features such as Wes Anderson’s Bottle Rocket and Dan Ireland’s The Whole Wide World. Antonia also directed acclaimed productions, including My Fair Lady and A Long Day’s Journey Into Night, in Charleston, South Carolina.Antonia began her writing career, after receiving her BS from UCLA, as a freelance journalist for The Santa Monica Daily Press and LA Weekly. After writing in a variety of formats including essays, poems and a novel, Antonia eventually focused her talents on screenplays. She has since written several independent feature scripts with her writing partner, Anne Heffron, including The Rabbit Will Die and Tell Me I’m Pretty, as well as a solo project called Tangiers by Friday, a coming of age story about a boy who discovers a group of Eastern European woman being sex trafficked to the USA on a container ship.Antonia made her directorial debut in 2012 with the short film My Left Hand Man, which won Best Short at the New Jersey Film Festival.  Last year she was Co-Executive Producer on She’s Funny That Way, starring Owen Wilson and Jennifer Anniston. She is currently wrapping up her directoral debut,  which she co-wrote, Phantom Halo, a modern LA Noir thriller starring Thomas Brodie-Sanster, Rebecca Romijn and Tobin Bell.
