Erin Hallagan is the Founder and Artistic Director of Story Bar, a multi-disciplinary arts initiative featuring storytelling and the exploration of the human condition through community-driven events and workshops. Through Story Bar, she has launched four signature programs: Story Mixers, Inward and Artward, Story Baton, and Story Bar Lab, all designed to bring audiences and artists together through creativity, community, and collaboration.

Prior to Story Bar, Erin served as Creative Director of the Austin Film Festival & Writers Conference, in addition to producing the festival’s PBS affiliated television show On Story. She is currently on the board of the Austin Film Festival, Austin Emerging Art Leaders, and co-produced the storytelling track for the inaugural Creatives Meet Business Experience. Before Erin lived in Austin, she taught writing classes at the Graduate School of DC and managed an equestrian center in Rock Creek National Park. She is a certified yoga teacher through the Yoga Alliance with 400 hours of training, and is in the process of launching a new mindfulness and creativity venture called The Wild Yes.

Erin believes everyone has a story to tell, and that we are all creative. She is dedicated to making a difference through the transformative power of the arts.
