Held in the glamorous and historic Driskill Hotel, this evening of specialty cocktails by Twin Liquors and innovative cuisine presented by some of Austin’s most notable chefs, brings together Austinites and visitors alike to celebrate the arts. The silent auction presents the very best in luxury items, trips, and experiences.
Proceeds benefit Austin Film Festival’s On Story® Project. The On Story® Project encompasses AFF’s PBS affiliated show On Story, the book series On Story: Screenwriters and Their Craft; and the On Story Podcasts — all produced off various recordings captured from past Festivals & year-round events. The On Story archive is also made available to students through AFF’s Young Filmmakers Program, which introduces young people to the film industry and provides new mediums for them to express their creativity, improve their communication skills, and benefit the arts community as a whole. The On Story Project shares 20 years of wonderful experiences and knowledge from screenwriters such as Sydney Pollack, Oliver Stone, Ron Howard, and Vince Gilligan, just to name a few.
