Or is it something older and more profound hidden there and in Lily's bloodline?

Percival believes he’s cursed after miraculously surviving each suicide attempt. After jumping from a building and landing on the cab of Steven Ray, an unusual man whose violent and bizarre behavior becomes uncontrollable after losing the love of his life to a hit-and-run incident, Percival hires Steven to assist him in suicide. After Percival continues to miraculously survive each attempt on his life, Steven starts to believe in Percival’s curse, and tries to help Percival figure out ways to overcome it. In the process, they form an unlikely friendship through the common bond of tragedy.

Travis is a psychiatrist in a public hospital: a man stuck in a nightmarish vortex of daily neurotic diatribes and the memories of a patient who took her own life. It's getting the better of him. Grace is a young woman from an alternative community who knows that she can make the world a better place. They meet on the train where Grace is handing out fliers. She knows someone in trouble when she sees one. She gives Travis a lifeline: Come tonight and watch our film. In his desperation and vulnerability, Travis is led deeper and deeper into the underworld of a doomsday cult where he’s given one last chance for redemption. One Eyed Girl is about identity, sexuality, and the abuse of power in all its guises. It’s about two lost people who might be able to help each other find the truth about themselves and the world they live in. How can they find love in a world of fear?

After an alcohol-induced blacked-out night of drinking, Teddy discovers he has severely beaten his wife, Molly. As he attempts to redeem himself, Molly must decide whether or not to take him back. All the while, her brother Gordon, humiliated by his inability to take care of his sister or to confront her husband, falls in over his head as he hires ex-con Howard to kill Teddy. Actions spiral out of control and all parties find themselves making fateful decisions they will never be able to take back.

After a northern archaeological camp begins to uncover a strange structure in the Yukon Mountains, the local crew hired by the camp to assist in excavating the site mysteriously disappears after a member of the group sickens and the camp cat is found dead at the dig site. Tension begins to escalate when radio communication with the ranger station fails to work and the archaeologist’s illness begins to worsen. It is not long before the members of the crew begin to feel the effects of the isolation and solitude.
