Brian Pittman and Rachel Long are a prolific writing team with multiple produced credits and projects in development. Most recently, they sold their script Incarnate to CBS Films and their spy script The Civilian (The Blacklist 2013) to Millennium Films, both this year. Their project Dawn Patrol, a drama/thriller set in a surfing world, shot recently in Ventura, Calif. It was directed by Oscar-Nominee Dan Petrie, Jr., (Beverly Hills Cop, The Big Easy, two-time WGA president) with Scott Eastwood, Jeff Fahey and Rita Wilson starring. The script was a Latitude finalist at the Austin Film Festival, where it was discovered by Dan Petrie, Jr. and Rick Dugdale of Enderby Entertainment. Their script 1950, a Korean War epic, is in development with Rob Cohen attached to direct. Their thriller/horror script A Haunting At Silver Falls, co-written with Cam Cannon, recently shot in Oregon. Their script Codename: Jolanta based on the true story of Irena Sendler, who saved 2500 Jewish children in the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII, is in development with Jeff Most Films (The Crow) producing. They recently completed several studio rewrites and are currently wrapping several specs. In addition, they are working with Sander/Moses Productions on TV. Rachel was a Paramount Chesterfield fellow.  Rachel has worked on a variety of films, starting with her work at the Leucadia Film Corp. Brian is a seasoned journalist who has interviewed luminaries, including Louis Farrakhan to Clarence Thomas, Bob Edwards, Margaret Thatcher, Seven R. Covey, Boutros-Boutros Ghali and many others. A longtime member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Surfrider Foundation, he’s a published poet and grew up in Norway. The writing team is represented by Ramses IsHak and Michael Sheresky at UTA for film. They are represented by Greg Iserson and Josh Honrstock at UTA for TV. They are managed by Scott G. Carr and represented legally by Ryan Pastorek at Morris Yorn Barnes Levine Krintzman Rubenstein & Kohner. Rachel lives with Brian and their parrot Lollipop in Silver Strand, California.
