Greg Garrett has been a moderator and panelist at the conference for over twenty years, talking with luminaries including Lawrence Kasdan, Kevin Willmott, Liz Hannah, Jim Hart, Damon Lindelof, and Angela Kang. He also partners with the Festival on national film programs on race and prejudice and is an instructor for the Festival's summer writing retreat at Ghost Ranch. Himself the author of five acclaimed novels and two dozen nonfiction books on race, religion, politics, and culture, Greg is an award-winning professor at Baylor University, where his students have successfully written for Hollywood and TV and published short stories and novels.
