Trish Rigdon joined Houston Cinema Arts Society as Executive Director in 2010. She has over 15 years of experience as an arts administrator in the commercial and nonprofit professional theatre nationally and internationally. Ms. Rigdon is also a director and a designer for theatre and film. Her current film project Room 313 is in post-production and headed for festivals in 2015.  Previously, in the U.K., she worked as Associate Producer /Director and Production Designer for the Peter Hall Company Season at Theatre Royal Bath 2003 – 2006. While working with Sir Peter Hall, founder of the Royal Shakespeare Company and former Artistic Director of the National Theatre of Great Britain, she simultaneously held the position of Director of Theatre for Rice University’s Department of Visual and Dramatic Arts from 2004 to 2007 and Associate Director from 2000 – 2003. From 2008 – 2010 Ms. Rigdon also taught in the Graduate Design Program for University of Houston’s School of Theatre & Dance. Ms. Rigdon holds a BA in Fine Arts from the University of St. Thomas, Houston, and an MFA in Theatre from the University of Houston.
